Ho ho ho, Christmas was a long, long, time ago
Merry Christmas! You know, for six months ago… We realise we’re quite behind the eight ball with this one, but we thought we’d take the opportunity to show off the ‘thank you for working with us’ gifts our design team created for our clients (before the next Christmas rolls around!)
You could say the brief was very… brief: Say thanks to our awesome clients, show off some design skills and make it relevant to the season. Oh, and don’t blow the budget! We were essentially left to our own devices to create something on behalf of the entire Fuel team. Perrrrrfect.
With pencils in hand, brains engaged, and coffee cups brimming with deliciousness, the team quickly established the theme for this year’s gifts: A Guide to Surviving Summer. For those of you that don’t live in Tauranga, the summers here are pretty, ah, summery. That’s fine for all you beach lovers who thrive in hot, damp, and tanned environments, but for the likes of our resident winter lover, Ash (who would spend the rest of her days nestled in 12 layers of clothing with a cup of mulled wine in-hand if she could) finds summer pretty gruesome. But summer isn’t just about the heat, it’s about trying to keep track of your kids; getting that epic jandal tan; throwing sausages on the barbie. So, we wanted to provide a few quirky and inventive ways to make the summer period just that little bit more enjoyable, by putting together a few items that—like summer—means more than just one thing.
You can check out our e-newsletter here, which sums up our ideas nicely, or keep on scrollin’ to see how a few of the items turned out.
