We were engaged to create Modern CFO’s brand identity, including a logo, website and stationery—watch this space for supporting collateral yet to hit the press! We collaborated with copywriters, photographers and web developers to bring this brand to life, and with our powers combined we created and ‘Fuel-ised ‘an identity that’s thoughtful and design-led, yet inherently functional from a digital, SEO, and communication perspective. We wanted to come out with a bang and show people that Modern CFO have a unique, innovative offering (considering the concept of a ‘virtual CFO’ is new to the New Zealand market).
Modern CFO are a progressive duo, with the original brief calling for an identity that disrupted what you would generally expect from an accounting or data-focussed brand; they have a point of difference, and their identity needed to reflect that. The aim was to dance the very fine line between a corporate brand and something that pushes the boundaries in a visually engaging way; bold and structured visual elements mixed with a couple of quirky and ‘data-esque’ identifiers bringing the brand to life, suggesting that there’s perhaps more than meets the eye to this ‘unicorn of the accounting world’…
