Exciting news right here, folks! We’ve been engaged to work with Eqalis—a medical brand coming out with a bang, who will be manufacturing the highest quality medical cannabis oils for the New Zealand market (pending Government legislation). Eqalis launched their brand at the recent Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand Conference, which showcased their logo, colour palette, and a range of collateral pieces including business cards, information booklets, notepads, and signage.
The brief was to create a conservative yet premium identity that appeals predominantly to doctors, pharmacists, and medical professionals, which we brought to life with a minimal aesthetic and a logo rich with meaning (check out ‘The Eqalis Story’ below!). A premium paper stock was selected for that high-quality feel, consistent across all touch-points.
We’re currently full-steam ahead with the Eqalis website and product packaging, but we couldn’t resist showing you how things are progressing—scroll down for some aesthetic goodness!
The Eqalis Story
Eqalis speaks to two key principals, with the first being that cannabis is a medical product facilitating the body’s natural systems to achieve equilibrium. By utilising the many elements (such as Cannabinoids and Terpenes) found within cannabis, we are able to produce a medicine that works throughout the body including the brain, organs, connective tissue, glands, and immune cells. The goal is Homeostasis—the maintenance and stability of the internal systems.
The second principle derives from the value of a medicine in determining the quality of life it produces. Quality Adjusted Life Year (QALY) is globally recognised and is at the heart of our brand with Eqalis growing and producing the finest quality ingredients under the strictest conditions delivered at the best possible price. Our medicine is accessible to all, to ensure everyone can achieve a better, healthier, and happier quality of life.
Representing the Eqalis brand is the Statera icon, which speaks to our brand ethos of rebalancing your body and ultimately improving your quality of life. It symbolises balance, wholeness, symmetry, targeted relief, and continuous development, with the suggestion of a flower eluding to our horticultural heritage.
We are currently collaborating with world-class growers, industry experts and stakeholders on both a national and global scale to bring only the best medical solutions. In early 2020, we expect to be launching our New Zealand grown and manufactured CBD-based medicine, pending Government Legislation.
